Each May, about 1,000 fourth graders from throughout Kitsap County come together to learn about water — from sources and distribution to pollution and fish. Check out the Water Festival home page for specifics.
Charleen Burnette, host of “Around Kitsap,” produced a great little segment about the festival for Bremerton-Kitsap Access Television, the local community access station. Her feature provides a nice overview of what the kids experience when they attend.
