Arizona State freshman Brendan Weiner knocked more than three
seconds off his seeding time in the preliminaries of the 200-yard
freestyle Tuesday at the Pac-12 men’s swimming and diving
championships.
Weiner touched the wall in his heat in one minute, 42.46 seconds at
the King County Aquatics Center. His seed time coming into the
event was 1:45.96.
Weiner, a Central Kitsap product, will also swim in the 1,650
Wednesday.
