This Did NOT Happen in Port Orchard

Workers installing a storm water main on Fifth Street in (you guessed it) Bremerton had to take time to lift heavy machinery out of a hole on Wednesday. See the video here. A portion of the street caved away on the left side of the machine. It’s hard to ignore (literally) breaking news when it happens right outside your office.

  1. Oh Boy, you guys (Kitsap Sun). Between the library bomb scare, the Tire and now this, who needs to ever leave the office? (smile)

  2. Hey, what if we had a day where we only reported news within a block of 545 Fifth Street? “10:40 a.m. – John Doe orders a latte with two percent milk at Cornerstone Coffee.”

  3. Yeah…Derek Shepherds tire stories. A real in depth THREE part series. I am sure he is up for some sort of journalistic award on this outstanding epic masterpiece:)

All this excitement just out back of the SUN building. You must have been in Port Orchard while it was going down.

You tell Gardner to lay off the 2%. His marching orders are for Non-Fat only!

  5. Good thing PO’s downtown buildings aren’t matched with Bremerton’s streets…what an adventure for the newly created town of Poobremsorchard.
