FRAMES: Photo Challenge #46: Reflections STAND-OUTS

Hmm so I feel I need to once again apologize for my lack of blogging and the lateness of this challenge stand-out…my sincerest apologies, we’ve just been really busy here in the photo cave but never fear, your Reflection stand-outs are here (ugh sorry even my lack of blogging has gotten tacky).

Anywho, the folowing stand-outs and my rambeling will be published in Sunday’s edition of the Kitsap Sun.

Nice work everyone! We’ll take a break for the holidays and I’ll once again promise to get this blog up to snuff (ugh seriously) I promise!

“In A Droplet” by Solveig Dahl

While the reflection in this image is very subtle, it is still the focal point of the image. I love how the stem of the leaf leads the viewers eye through the image past the droplet and to the rest of the leaf.

“Mountain Fun” by Faith Winters

I can sheepishly say I don’t think my car has ever been clean enough to reflect a scene like this. I like how the photographer noticed such an interesting reflective surface and scene. The person in the driver’s seat also matches the whole color scheme and feel of the image nicely.

“Vintage Reflections” by Carol Ballah

I have no idea what this image and is and I’m okay with that. It has a nice ethereal quality, a pleasant composition and a nice vintage feel.

“Backseat Driver” by Karen Ebersole

I don’t know about you but seeing little snow creatures waving to me in my rear view mirror would would make me giggle every time I saw them back there as I was driving. I like that Karen captured such a simple and whimsical scene which she probably has been looking at all season.
