I go away on vacation, and when I come back,
Bremerton’s got another statue.
Good for them.
That’s OK. Port Orchard’s got flowers. That derelict hillside
between downtown’s two billboards now sports a terraced flower
garden, thanks to South Kitsap’s resident radio personality,
Delilah.
She got permission from the property owners and the blessing of the
city. The posies were in place in time for the Fathoms ‘O Fun Grand
Parade June 26.
