Bainbridge’s Sam Warkentin, the defending Class 3A state champ, shot a 69 in the first round of the state golf tournament and has a shot lead heading into the final day.
Central Kitsap freshman Brittany Kwon shot a 77 and is tied for third, a shot back of the leader at the Class 3A girls tournament.
