Kitsap pair named LAX players of the week

Ben Biggers, a senior at Bainbridge, and Joe Hawley, a senior at Klahowya, were named their respective Washington state high school lacrosse players of the week for March 21-27.

Ben Biggers, Senior, Bainbridge High School, Metro Conference

Ben Biggers had his best night of the spring delivering five goals as undefeated Bainbridge swept past O’Dea with a 10-9 overtime boys lacrosse win over the Fighting Irish on Tuesday.  Biggers finished the night with six points including a single assist.

Joe Hawley, Senior, Klahowya Secondary School, Narrows/Olympic Conference

Joe Hawley continued to rack up points in the early stages of the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association season as the senior attackman led undefeated Klahowya to a 15 – 8 win over North Kitsap on Friday.  Hawley completed a seven-goal, three-assist night giving him 10 goals and 10 assists for the week following a three-goal, seven-assist performance in the Eagles’ win at Port Angeles on Tuesday.
