Bremerton’s Katelyn Schwartz and Port Orchard’s Alyssa Bergemann are doing their part in helping Evergreen Lutheran’s girls basketball team remain among the top teams in the Class 1B rankings.
The Eagles are currently ranked fifth in the Associated Press poll and are 11-0 on the season, 6-0 in the Sea-Tac League.
Schwartz, a junior guard, is second on the team in points with a 17.5 average. She is averaging 9.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 4.8 steals in 11 games. Schwartz also plays volleyball. Bergemann, a junior guard, also plays soccer and softball. She is averaging 2.4 points and 3.0 rebounds.
