Bainbridge’s golf team swept state titles Thursday at the Class 3A tournament at Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick.
Warkentin, a junior who is committed to UW, shot rounds of 69 and 70 for a two-day score of 139. Spencer Tibbits of Fort Vancouver was three shots back at 142.
Two other Bainbridge golfers finished in the top 30. Colin Campbell (160) and Hudson Hausmann (160) both tied for 27th.
Bainbridge’s team scored 70 points to take first, nine points ahead of Interlake.
