The Kitsap County jail is housing more offenders who are arrested for a wider range of crimes because of a drop in inmate population, but corrections officials warn that the change will only last as long as beds remain available.

Body Found in Puget Sound a Suspected Homicide
The death of a woman found floating in Puget Sound in January is being investigated by Seattle police as a homicide, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
