The Kitsap County Board of Commissioners and the county’s Budget
Review Committee will hear presentations for 2012 budget requests
from department heads beginning Wednesday at the county
administration building.
The presentations will be broadcast on Bremerton Kitsap Access
Television beginning on Friday. The schedule is available on the county’s
website.
Each department will outline their priorities and proposed expenses
as part of the board’s budget process. The board will present its
draft budget to the public in November, with a formal public
hearing.
Until then, comments on the budget can be submitted through the

Thanks for posting this Chris. I am excited to be serving as one of the citizen members of this committee this year. I will be doing most of my viewing and reviewing of these presentations remotely via the web and BKAT because I still have my 8-5 private sector job obligations. I am taking some time off of work and will be there in person this Thursday (tomorrow) in the afternoon for presentations from the following departments: Assessor, Coroner, Treasurer, Health District and Humane Society.
I was just added to this committee a little over a week ago, so I am farther behind the learning curve than my other fellow committee members.
