Last June, I ended the school year with the weather forecast you are about to see. At the end of the video, it will say “Stay tuned in September to find out more”. Just replace September to next week. 🙂

It is Sunday, so that means it’s time for some entertainment. This video was produced last year and the idea came after someone asked me, “What makes a weatherman credible?” So, to make this video extra fun, I went around the school and asked some staff members the question, “What is the credibility of weathermen?”
Enjoy the beautiful sunshine!

As stated in the very first post of this blog, I am the weatherman at Central Kitsap High School and before I have my forecasts air on the broadcast, I say to myself, “Will a normal high school teen want to see this?” It is no news flash that in high school, attention spans are not very long and at 8:00 am, when the broadcast airs, most aren’t very awake anyway. So, I always make it a goal of mine to create entertaining and humorous weather forecasts to keep the student body entertained and informed.
So I have dubbed Sunday “Weekly Entertainment Day” so folks around Kitsap that don’t get to see the weekly broadcast at CK High can get a taste of what goes on every Friday morning. This particular video is one I thought up randomly during one of my periods last year: “What would it be like if a weatherman was thrown into ISS (In School Suspension) for a day?” The following video would be the result. Enjoy!
