You should be happy people from Bremerton know Shakespeare’s first name.
After more than two days misspelled, the name of the most famous and influential practitioner of the English language has been correctly spelled.
I checked at about 5 p.m. Thursday and the error had been corrected. I placed a call to the theater earlier in the day and asked if staff planned to fix the mistake.
Of course, I’m not impervious to errors, spelling and otherwise. As a matter of fact, people could set their watches by my errors.
However, we’re talking about Shakespeare, misspelled, in big letters, on the main drag through Bremerton.
