Some of the big projects — East Park,
West Hills, Westpark — get the bulk of attention, but the smaller
ones do just as much to enhance smaller neighborhoods. Christopher
Dunagan wrote a story about a
3.7-acre property that is getting some money to find out what
it will take to clean it up.
Assuming it does get cleaned, the
property could become a business park with a marina with repair
facilities and other businesses for boats.
Of course, we may be just seeing the beginning on this particular property. The estimated $350,000 it will take to study the property will only, at best, determine what to do. Actually doing the cleanup work costs a whole lot more. This story could go on for years.
