Bainbridge Man’s Fatal Fall Ruled an Accident
The Kitsap County Coroner’s Office has ruled that a 69-year-old Bainbridge Island man’s falling death was an accident, Coroner Greg Sandstrom said Friday. (See last week’s Police blotter entry)
David Howard Beasley, 69, fell between 30 and 35 feet from a cliff on his Sunset Lane property on the northwestern side of the island Aug. 28, Bainbridge Police Lt. Bob Day said.
Beasley died of blunt force injuries, Sandstrom said.
Born in Montana, Beasley, an accountant, moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1977, according to his obituary. He lived in Suquamish until 1984 when he built a waterfront home on the island.
