The reality is that UTAH IS paying a guy $8.3 million a year to score 8.9 ppg, grab 3.5 rpg, make 0.9 threes a game, assist 0.9 times a game, and steal and block 1.1 times a game combined. I’m not convinced that a) that’s as far as $8.3 million will get you in today’s day and age; or b) that’s all that Marvin Williams is capable of right now.
