Kasey Dunn Makes All-Idaho Team

Here’s a link to an All-Idaho football team that was comprised by Steve Crump of the Times-News in Idaho. Former North Kitsap star Kasey Dunn, now an assistant coach at Southern Mississippi, is one of the receivers. I think you’ll be surprised by some of the names on the list. Idaho’s produced some pretty good football players.

A three-time All-America wide receiver at the University of Idaho, Dunn ended his collegiate career No. 2 all-time in Division I-AA (now Championship Subdivision) history in career receptions (268) and receiving yards (3,847) to Jerry Rice. Dunn coached running backs for the Seattle Seahawks the past two seasons, and is currently coaching wide receivers at Southern Miss.

Here’s some breaking news: Dunn will be inducted into the Kitsap Sports Hall of Fame later this month. The full list of HOF inductees will be announced later this weekend.
