Few Baseball Notes to Pass Along
April 9th, 2010 by nathan joyceThese come courtesy of freelancer Howie Stalwick:
North Kitsap High alum, Aaron Sele, has been promoted by the Los
Angeles Dodgers after one season as a minor league pitching
instructor. Sele still works with the Dodgers’ minor league
pitchers, but he also helps out occasionally with the major league
pitching staff and deals with player evaluation as well as special
assignments by general manager Ned Colletti.
Great to see former Central Kitsap High standout David Stilley
pitch so well last weekend against the Huskies. It was Stilley’s
first action with Washington State since Feb. 21 due to arm
problems. Stilley is scheduled to start Sunday against top-ranked
Arizona State in Pullman.
