Kitsap Pumas defender Taylor Hyde is being recalled after being
on loan with F.C. La Paz in Bolivia, the club said Wednesday.
Hyde, who in December became the first Kitsap player to be loaned
out to another professional club, will be back in the U.S. on
Thursday. He won’t be attending this week’s invitational tryout
session, which will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at
Silverdale Stadium,
“I am really excited to be back,” Hyde said in an E-mail message.
“I have great expectations for this season.”
Hyde started for Kitsap at central defender last season and was
third on the team in minutes played.
