It’s Official Now for Adrian
July 9th, 2009 by Annette GriffusWith his win Thursday in the 50 free, Nathan Adrian officially added his name to the U.S. roster for the world championships.
You can check out the roster here on USA Swimming’s web site. He can qualify for his second individual event by finishing 1-2 in the 100 free Friday. Check back on this blog for an update after morning prelims and a live thread of the race in the evening.
The top 6 qualifiers in the 100 make the world team, but the top 2 earn the right to swim it as an individual event, not on a relay.
