Nathan Adrian Update

July 8th, 2009 by Annette Griffus

Bremerton’s Nathan Adrian will swim in his first event at the U.S. Nationals/world trials on Thursday. Adrian is set to swim in the preliminaries of the 50 freestyle at 6 a.m. (local) and then the finals at 5 p.m. at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis. Adrian is swimming in the final prelim heat (7 of 7) with notables Cullen Jones, Cesar Cielo of Brazil and David Walters.

So check back in the morning on this blog for an update in the morning and a live blog during the evening session. We’ll also have a story on Adrian online and in print. He’s also swimming in the 100 free on Friday.

You can watch the meet live on webcast at SwimNetwork.com Thursday and Friday. The meet will be shown on tape-delay on NBC Saturday and Sunday (check local listings).
