You're really right this time.

Every time I write about legacy lots on Water Ways, I wonder if I'm getting off the topic of water issues. My only excuse is that these dense urbanlike developments in rural areas tend to produce stormwater that can wreak havoc with natural streams and wetlands.

As for the boat cleaner, I'll leave this open for discussion. I'd like to write a blog entry on "green" cleaners. Maybe I'll try to get to that sooner rather than later. There are some knowledgeable folks at Kitsap Public Works who would be a good source for both you and me.

"But then, the last time I checked, the name of this blog was Watching Our Water Ways."

And that's why I enjoyed your next post about "Legacy lots are getting attention from Kitsap County"!?

Personally, I would rather stick to the water ways and talk about the great boating season coming up!

I am looking for a good, no great, boat cleaner that is a little more friendly to the water than the normal boat/car soaps...any ideas?

OK, Jim C., you got me.

We probably should be talking about Gary Locke's record on education, transportation, crime, international trade and the Seattle Mariners.

But then, the last time I checked, the name of this blog was Watching Our Water Ways.

He may be good for whales and salmon, but he will be a disaster for commerce. He has never in his life had to run a business at a profit, he doesnt have a clue about creating a favorable business climate.

That's funny. I had to laugh when I realized your mistake by titling the entry "Commerce Secretary Locke could be good for salmon and whales".

We know you meant the title to read "Commerce Secretary Locke could be good for the PEOPLE of the United States". You know, the people who pay taxes and politician's salaries.

Oh well, anyone can make a mistake. Too funny!

Ps. As for Mr. Garrett, I think the last paragraph is telling concerning his agenda. Too funny!

Yes, hopefully in these tough economic times our nation's Commerce Secretary will make the Southern Resident Orcas his primary concern.
