Amusing Monday: Greena allows you to laugh (at yourself?)

January 12th, 2009 by cdunagan

Ya gotta love Greena, the Princess Warrior, who stars in a cartoon series called “The Animated Adventures of Greena.”

Greena

This young girl with a peace sign emblazoned on her cutoff shirt is more than a dedicated environmentalist,. She tries to save a whale that doesn’t want to be saved. She appears willing to be sawed into lumber to save a tree. And she even succeeds in turning her cute dog into a vegetarian.

Produced by ABC Television and Radio Australia, this series has been around about six years and seems to have run its course. But the 12 episodes are entertaining and fun to watch — provided that you are not so serious that you can’t laugh at the foibles of environmental extremists.
