A handful of local age-group swimmers were named to the Pacific Northwest All-Star team at the Pacific Coast All-Star meet at The Evergreen State College pool in Olympia, Saturday and Sunday.
Poulsbo Piranhas’ Eleanor Beers, Tim Gallagher and Kevin Houseman were named to the 11-12 girls and boys teams. Isabel Hendryz was named an alternate.
Bainbridge Island Swim Club’s Lia Campbell and Garrett Waite were selected to the 13-14 girls and boys teams. BISC’s Makai Ingalls was named to the 11-12 boys team.
Poulsbo Piranhas coach Patty Jenkins was named the PNW head coach.
The short-course yard meet begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
