OAC sending swimmers to regionals, champs

Olympic Aquatic Club swimmers recently qualified for two upcoming meets in Federal Way at the King County Aquatics Center.

Kira Crane (200 freestyle, 50 backstroke, 100 individual medley), Tatiana Tubberville (200 free), Danielle Snyder (200 free), Chloe Partsch (50 butterfly), Mason Heaman (100 free), Zane Guyt (50 breaststroke) and Nathan Rubie (200 fly) all qualified for the Northwest Age-Group (NWAG) Championships, March 22-24.

Kira Crane and Kelsey Crane each qualified for the USA Swimming/Speedo Champions Series Western Region SC Section Championship, March 13-17. Kira qualified in the 50 free and Kelsey in the 200 free, 200 IM and 100 fly.

Also, age-group coaches Greg Mercer and Taryn Beard have each earned their American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 2 coaching certificates.
