NK Comets Open Tour of England With 1-0 Loss in Dorchester

Poulsbo’s Pip Thompson returned to Dorchester, England, with the North Kitsap Comets, a boys U12 soccer team. The local paper filed this report on the game between the Comets and Dorchester Raiders, who beat the visitors 1-0.

    Actually, this was the third game in the tour, not the opening game as stated in the headline. The Comets beat the Moretonville Rovers 3-2 and Moretonville Rangers 3-0 earlier in the week.
