  1. Here’s hoping that Schaaf makes it to Vancouver/Whistler. The only downside is that NBC won’t be showing any of it live. Not that they’d want to.

  2. “…A group of dedicated and passionate youth baseball leaders in Poulsbo are trying to decide if there’s enough interest — and volunteers — to put together a bid to be a possible host for the 2012 Babe Ruth World Series for 14-year-olds. They’re meeting Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.///”

What did they decide? I hope they decided to do it…

  3. Between the meeting, and e-mails and phone calls from people that couldn’t make the meeting, we’ve decided to at least move forward in the process for now. It’s a HUGE undertaking, so we’ll need a lot of help from the community and sponsors…!

  4. Good!
Line up what you need, post it and see what happens. I think the community will step up to the plate and do everything they can to help.
Baseball is commendable, to me, as the one field sport the entire family can play together for fun and entertainment … and used to at state and local parks…

    Best wishes…Sharon O’Hara
