Evolution of Oregon’s Football Uniforms Continues
June 24th, 2009 by cstarkHave you seen Oregon’s new football uniforms?
Check ‘em out, feathers and all.
And this story tells you there’s more to those NIKE
uniforms than meets the eye. They feature laminate numbering
and laminate anti-abrasion shoulder reinforcement and titanium
d-rings on belts and Nike Pro Combat Pads. Why wouldn’t
they?

I didn’t think it was possible to have uni’s that looked even worse than the work release janitor uni’s they wore for the last couple of years, but they’ve succeeded. Ewwwwww.

I guess Nike and UO have lots of money for unnecessary uniform options. I wonder if any of the “non-revenue” sports get “performance enhancing” uniforms.
Under pressure from Nike, AD Pat Kilkenny cut the Oregon wrestling program about a year ago. Not wasting money like this perhaps would have helped keep the Oregon wrestling team.

My Son Nick’s Pee Wee Football uniform looks better and more professional than that. I agree Elliott…EWWWWWWW.

Oregon’s football uniforms are so ugly, even the guys from Queer Eye think they’re atrocious. I guess U of O would do anything to keep Phil Knight’s money coming to their school.
Even with the ugly unis, I’d rather see the Ducks in the Rose Bowl than USC.
