FYI: I talked to Bree Schaff, Bremerton’s bobsled hopeful recently, and she’s excited about her chances of making the team. The U.S. team will be determined at team trials. After that, the top two American bobsled teams during the World Cup (and possibly three, if the U.S. is among the top two countries overall) will represent the U.S. in Canada. Bree’s currently trainining in Huntington Beach, Calif., working out daily. “You can’t waste a day,” she said.
