  1. selling 27,000 tickets to a 72,000 seat venue is hardly a sell out.

Their deceptive marketing is really turning me off from what is probably a solid product.

  2. In deference to the great Bill Schonely, Bingo, Bango, Bongo. Couldn’t resist. Which reminds me, Craig P, 20,500 is a sell out in the Rose Garden. I guess it’s all relative.

  3. Stark – Are you really confused about Salt Lake’s nickname, or was that a lame attempt at trash talk?

Craig P – This isn’t the NFL. 72,000 seats were not available for purchase. To make available 27,000 and then call it a sellout when you’ve sold them all is not deceptive. And 27k is not shabby at all for an MLS match!

Congratulations, Seattle. Your city is the envy of soccer fans across America. That said, I’m looking forward to this match tomorrow. Long live Real Salt Lake!
