Willie B. Headed to the Royals

It looks like Willie Bloomquist is finally going to get his opportunity to compete for an everyday position. The Port Orchard native has agreed to a two-year contract with the Kansas City Royals and will compete with Alberto Callaspo for the second base job.

The former Mariner utility player is expected to sign a two-year deal worth about $3 million.
