VIDEO: Even more new Metallica, “My Apocalypse”
If you can’t tell, I am a little jazzed about the upcoming Metallica record “Death Magnetic.”
So in case you haven’t heard it, here is another track from “Death Magnetic,” called “My Apocalypse.”
VIDEO: More new Metallica, “The Day That Never Comes”
A few weeks back I posted a video of the new Metallica song “Cyanide.” As every metalhead knows the song is off the upcoming “Death Magnetic,” which will be released Sept. 12.
Well, Metallica has released another new song to the masses, this one called “The Day That Never Comes,” and it packs a wallop during its final three minutes or so.
Here is a recording of the song, with lyrics, from the good old YouTube:
VIDEO: New Metallica, “Cyanide,” and a Seattle tour date
Metallica performed at the one-stop Ozzfest last weekend. The Bay Area thrashers broke out a new song from the upcoming “Death Magnetic,” which is due Sept 12.
Here’s a video of the song “Cyanide.”
Aside from unleashing a new song on the world (Rolling Stone describes the track as swinging in a hammock between St. Anger an the Black Album), the band also announced when it will be coming to Seattle.
“Death Magnetic” to hit shelves Sept. 12, are you excited?
Is it no longer cool to be a Metallica fan?
Like most anyone who grew up in the eighties, Metallica was blasting on the headphones of my Walkman throughout my youth, so I have a soft spot for Metallica in my heart.
That’s why I am a little excited to hear the band’s new album, “Death Magnetic,” when it is released Sept. 12 (which is a Friday btw). I might event download it on my XBox and play it on Guitar Hero.
I mean, considering “St. Anger” was such a miserable flop, the band’s latest record has to be good, right? Plus, it was produced by Rick Rubin, which has to mean at least one track will be somewhat decent.
So, are you excited to give Metallica’s latest record a listen? Or am I just setting myself up for disappointment by getting excited about “Death Magnetic?”
