But my good buddy Steven Friederich did spend time at the big stage and here are some photos of the action that he shot from the crowd in case you want to see what you missed.

Bumbershoot 2009: The audible review
Wednesday, September 9th, 2009Like most of Seattle’s music media I spent Labor Day weekend at Seattle Center for Bumbershoot 2009 and as always it was a killer festival with some pretty memorable moments. In the coming days you can expect to see lots and lots of photos and some words from the weekend. On the 150-mile car ride home my buddy Brent and I, along with very special guest Mrs. Ear Candy (aka my wife), recorded a podcast containing our thoughts about Bumbershoot and Ear Candy’s (F)unofficial Bumbershoot Kickoff show.
