HONORING KITSAP VETS WHO HAVE PASSED, ON JULY 15

From Ken Schlaudraff, Community Service Unit Manager, Dignity Memorial Miller-Woodlawn: “…I wanted to let you know that the Washington Army Natl. Guard is conducting a Military Honors Ceremony along with the Marine Corps League and the VFW Riders on Sunday July 15th at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park to honor all veterans from Kitsap Co. who have died during the past year. The event will begin at 1400 (2p) with the reading of the names of fallen heroes and those who have passed-on followed by a flag ceremony and the firing of a salute by the Marine Corps League Honor Guard and playing of Taps. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend and asked to submit the names of deceased family members to add to the list by e-mailing Deborah.Burg@dignitymemorial.com. Light refreshments will be served.”
