KITSAP RESCUE MISSION IS TOTALLY OUT OF TENTS – Can u help?
June 19th, 2012 by Sally SantanaKitsap Rescue Mission is totally out of all tents; could use a couple dozen 2 person size tents soonest. Those requesting supplies fill out a form that helps track who receives what items so there is less abuse, i.e. selling for profit, etc. You can be more secure knowing your donation will go to someone who actually needs it. Also, this time of year those who took friends/family in during the winter ask them to leave when the weather gets better, so we’ve seen an uptick there, too. Tents are on sale now at Fred Meyer and WalMart, according to the Sunday newspaper flyers. Please drop them off at the KRM office, 13th and Hayward in Bremerton. Just ring the doorbell and someone will come to the door during business hours of 10 AM to 2 PM.
