I totally agree with these comments - in today's day and age there are sensors that can regulate the lights - not a 2 minute sit-and- wait-for-the-light-to-turn-green! I drop my kids off at school around 645AM and many times we just sit and sit and sit and wait to make a LEFT turn on Lincoln Street.

Therefore REGARDLESS of the time of day - if there are NO cars coming on 305 in Poulsbo and people waiting to turn LEFT on ANY side street - the sensors would "SENSE" this and thus make the light turn green! It is assinine to have people just sitting there! Let's get with the "MODERN ENGINEERING" and have traffic flowly smoothly from ALL directions!

The left turn on Ridgetop Blvd has one of these sensors and it works great!

I have been caught sitting at the horrible traffic lights delays on Poulsbo Highway 305, For a couple of years it was construction, then it was months of DOT saying they will adjust the lights. Now it is just stupidity. In this day of technological advances, why can't traffic lights be set for sporatic high ferry traffic that defaults that reads spacing, then resets to flow control in high traffic times. It doesn't make sense. We are busy people that do not need to spend a larger portion of our life sitting at a vacant highway. I am on the road a lot for business and it really aggravates me.

What about the timing of Highway 303 signals? Those are set to stop traffic at each light. Why is that?
