The signs went up more recently, he said, and he suspects that
skids on the ice when the water freezes necessitated them.
The out basket: Doug Bear of Kitsap County Public Works says the
county noticed
a short section of the road with water coming up through the
pavement, attributed to a ditch failure. “We installed the signs
until better weather when we could eliminate the problem,” he said.
“Work was completed (recently.) We are leaving the signs up until
we’re sure the problem is fixed.”
