What became of Lincoln Avenue roundabout?

The out basket: Nothing has happened to it and it’s still planned. But it’s part of the Bethel Corridor project, the funding of which remains in question, with various ideas being floated, including a property tax levy.
The Brockmillers are just two of dozens of property owners and drivers along Bethel Avenue anxious to see it proceed. So far, it’s still in Kitsap County’s six-year road building plan for construction in 2009 and 2010. But county projects have a way of slipping on the schedule by at least a year as right of way and environmental entanglements arise, and the funding uncertainty only muddles the issue.
