Estates. After a sewer line was buried in the roadway, the patch
was poorly done, “bumpy and unsafe for a car traveling 40 mph,
which is the speed limit,” he said. “Winter and slippery roads
could add to the problem.”
The out basket: Ralph’s question came by regular mail, a rarity for
Road Warrior these days, and I suspect he had his answer before I
even read it.
There were “Rough Road” signs and other hints of a work in progress
when I visited the site Wednesday, and a supervisor with the
contractor said the finish paving would be done next week, unless
they got to it this week, which he didn’t expect.
