Pumas to launch youth academy teams

The Pumas have been trying to start a youth program for a while. Here is information from the club on a couple Youth Academy team that will begin this spring:

In 2012 the Kitsap Pumas SC will launch youth soccer teams for the first time.

The Pumas Youth academy is designed to spot and develop high level young players in the Kitsap area. It is the goal of the Pumas to progress players into good college systems with a view to offering our most advanced players the chance of playing professional soccer after graduation.

Age Groups:

Our Boys U15 and U13 teams will be coached by Kitsap Pumas Head Coach, James Ritchie. Sessions will be twice weekly and be held at North Kitsap High School. Teams will participate in a number of summer tournaments and play in the Fall PSPL league. In the future it is the goal of the club to cover other age groups and also girls soccer.

TRYOUT TIMES:

13th April 6-7:30p at NKHS Stadium – BU 13

13th April 7:30-9p at NKHS Stadium – BU 14 & 15

15th April 9-10:30am at NKHS Stadium – BU13

15th April 10:30-12 at NKHS Stadium – BU 15
