FRAMES ~ From The Archives 1978: The Annual Hay Fever Convention, a floating house, empty shelves at Albertsons and MORE!

A few moments that are captured in this batch of 1978 negative scans from the archives of Bremerton Sun photographers:

• Could these images of the “Annual Hay fever Convention” be the Scotch Broom Festival on Bainbridge Island?
• Very empty shelves at an Albertsons.
• Boeing Hydrofoil Demos.
• Fireworks…and in black and white film fireworks just don’t have the same “oooh ahhhh” factor.
• A floating house on the move.
• The Armed Forces Day Queen is crowned.
• Quite a few accidents in this last few batches of scans- car vs. pedestrian, car vs. motorcycle and car vs car…1978 seems to be the year of the auto accident.

Remember, the only information I have on these images is what is written on the negatives sleeve which is then typed in beneath the photos seen below.
