FRAMES ~ From The Archives 1978: Shirley’s Shirt Shack, fans lineup for Sonics, the biggest harmonica ever and more!

My goodness this 1978 box of negatives seems BOTTOMLESS!

And yes I realize I say that about every box I start to scan but truthfully I’m thinking that Larry is throwing some negatives in this box because I am still not even halfway through it and it seems to still be as full as when I started.

But enough of my rambling

A few moments that are captured in this batch of scans:

• Shirley’s Shirt Shack! Best biz name ever but also man look at those t-shirts…wish this place was still around!
• Sonics fans line the block and mug for the camera as they wait to buy tickets (well that is what I’m assuming anyway since the negative sleeve only says “Sonics Lineup”).
• The feeding of a pet robin.
• North Kitsap fans cheer on their team.
• Norm Dicks
• A harmonica that really shouldn’t be that big.
• Downtown Port Orchard
• Sidney Hotel
