FRAMES ~ From The Archives 1978: torpedo haul-out , a deputy is killed and suspects are captured, an octopus in a bucket and more

Continuing on through a box of Bremerton Sun film negatives labeled 3/78-7/78.

A few moments that are captured in this batch of scans:

• The murder of Kitsap Sheriff’s Deputy Allred and the apprehension of the suspects.
• A torpedo being hauled out of the water at Brownsville.
• Miss Kitsap is crowned.
• An octopus in a bucket (because where else would you put one?).
• Apparently 20 cents could buy you a Butterfinger from a vending machine.
• “Bank Fashion”… which I don’t think is actually a thing but maybe just a fashion shoot that was done in the bank vault for some reason.

Remember, the only information I have on these images is what is written on the negatives sleeve.
