As with the other batches of scans from this box of 1965-66 negatives we have quite a few shots from the Navy bases, as well as a few parades (including ones labeled “Kids Parade” which looks like it was a cute event), a portrait of the “Top Seniors” at North Kitsap High and the US Coast Guard’s ship the Eagle visiting Seattle.
Remember the only information I have on these photos is what is written on the negative sleeve, and when it comes to these really old boxes sometimes they are only labeled with “NEWS” or “SPORTS” and the date.
Take a scroll through the latest scans. I have one more posts left of this box and then we’ll be moving on to a new year.
***I also feel the need to put small plea on this post because of some slightly unscrupulous re-postings – if you are going to share these photos around social media and what not (which is totally fine) PLEASE credit the Kitsap Sun. These are our old but still copyrighted images and it is important to note that they are credited to us. ***
