Polar Pioneer Is Greeted at Point No Point by Bob Rosenbladt
This is a fantastic news image of the Polar Pioneer moving past a pair of sea lions. The sea lion with it’s mouth open makes one think he could be protesting the big rig as it slowly moves through its backyard. Also one of the biggest worries of the Polar Pioneer is its effect on wildlife, so a photograph showcasing just this, a pair of marine mammals and the behemoth oil rig really drives home what could be at stake. This image just tells the story perfectly.
