It’s almost mid-December already and 2015 is ticking away which means It is time for Larry and I to start picking our favorite photos of this past year.
Trust me when I tell you that we both drag our feet when it comes to this “project” because that is a whole lot of photos for us to scroll through as we smile at the “good ones” and groan and shudder (or shutter…hee heee a little photo humor there for you) at the “weak ones” that we are a bit embarrassed to have had published for the world to see…and might have threatened each other with “I’m putting your name under this photo” for each of those cringe worthy shots.
So, since I have begun this arduous task of wading through 3,343 photos that reside in my “2015 Published” folder, your photo challenge (if you choose to accept it of course) is to show me your favorite photo that you shot in 2015.
You know you have that one shot, that one AMAZING shot that you captured with your camera or phone and immediately uploaded it to Instagram/Facebook for the world to see.
Maybe you shot the perfect photo for a previous challenge theme but didn’t get it entered in time.
Maybe you just don’t like any of the challenge themes because they haven’t “spoken” to you and your love of photography….well now is your chance to show that photo off.
Or maybe you have 5 shots that you love equally but for varying reasons you just can’t pick one above the rest…fine then show me your top 5 shots of the year. But you may only upload or email me 5 submissions. Trust me, I know it’s tough to edit down a year’s worth of photos…it takes Larry and I weeks to get our picks down from 3,343 down to 40 and then to only 5 for the print edition.

So your rules are:
PHOTO MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN 2015! (And hey, you still have a few weeks to shoot one that beats all the others so get out there and get snapping!)
***Photos that have been chosen as “stand-outs” earlier in the year are NOT allowed in your 5 favorites.***
