Kitsap Frames Meegan M. Reid keeps you up-to-date, gives some behind-the-scenes scoops, shares photos from the Kitsap Sun Staff (and readers) and provides you with a few tips to help you take better photos.
It is time for the annual Autumn/Fall themed photo
challenge!
So your challenge, if you choose to accept it of course, is to
show me your best photo depicting Autumn. You can interpret the
theme of Autumn however you wish. If Autumn to you is a pile of
giant pink and orange leaves with a rake sweeping them up, then
snap it. Maybe a still life of the pumpkin spice latte that you
drink every morning really screams the autumnal season to you, if
so shoot it. Then again maybe to you Autumn is all about the fun of
fall sports and brilliantly colorful Halloween costumes, if so then
capture a few shots of those as well.
Deadline for this challenge is November
2nd.
You may email your entries to me: mreid@kitsapsun.com or use the
handy “Upload Kitsap Frames Photo Challenges here” link on the
right side of this page. Photos chosen as “Stand-Outs” will
be published in an upcoming edition of the Kitsap Sun. If you do
use the uploader on the right of the page, please be sure your real
life name is somewhere on the upload form.
As a recap, these photo challenges were started to give local
shutterbugs an opportunity to share their work, perhaps get
published in the paper, maybe learn some photo tips and tricks and
most of all to encourage people to get out there with their cameras
(or iPhones) and have some fun taking photos.
As usual, here are a few from our archives to get you thinking
