Westsound Wildlife Shelter Executive Director Lisa Horn releases an eagle for flight Sunday on Bainbridge Island. The eagle had been recovery from injuries at the shelter since October.  (Brad Camp / Special to the Kitsap Sun)

    These folks are VERY good people doing a WONDERFUL thing – if you can swing a donation send it their way!

    I’ve taken a Seagull and a possum there, both received excellent treatment……watching the gal just pick the possum up and pet it blew my mind :)

    Awesome!
