FRAMES: Photo of the Day: 2 Photographers and 1 Flower Umbrella

While grabbing a cup of chai at my favorite coffee shop (ahem Cornerstone Coffee) when I spotted Kelly Evans toting her lovely flower umbrella down the street. Since I had my camera on my shoulder (just in case a cool umbrella should magically appear in front of me) I proceeded to dash across the street and follow her down the sidewalk since my job gives me the liberty to well somewhat stalk people but not all creepy like. So with a chai in one hand and my camera held high above her umbrella to get the whole flower print that adorned the top, I followed her down Pacific Ave.

Kelly Evans, of Poulsbo, carries a flower-printed umbrella as she walks along Pacific Avenue in downtown Bremerton on a rainy Tuesday afternoon. (MEEGAN M. REID / KITSAP SUN)

Well it turns out Larry was “stalking” umbrellas at the same time, he’s actually behind the pink umbrella in the background in the shot above trying to get a layered shot of the two umbrellas. He then turned his focus on the cool flower umbrella as well, until he noticed me following behind her with my camera held high. See the half photographer in the frame below, yep that’s me.
