FRAMES: Photo Challenge #55: The Fair and Stampede
August 21st, 2012 by Meegan ReidI know I say it every year but gosh darn it Larry and I love
photographing the fair and rodeo! In fact, we tend to plan
vacations around this time of year so that we don’t miss it. We’ve
also been known to scrutinize each others schedules to see what the
other gets to shoot and what we’re missing out on. I’m the late
shift which means I get the rodeos (score) but Larry’s day shift so
gets all the cute kids and animals shots…sigh…maybe we can trade
one of these days to balance out the cowboys and cute kids shots.

But I digress…ANYWAY since we love the fair and rodeo, I think you all should love it to. The photo possibilities are almost as endless as the slightly nauseating smell of the carnival. You’ve got kids, you’ve got animals and you’ve got colors and lights all around you. So, your challenge is to show us your best shot from the Fair and/or Stampede. So get to the Kitsap County Fairgrounds this August 22-26th. and get snapping!
Deadline for entries will be Tuesday, August 28th.
Don’t forget to put your real name somewhere on the entry!!!
